By selecting these hobbies you will help other users to find you while searching for friends, and enable Connec to show you Groups and Events in your area most relevant to your interests.
Next, run a search. You can search for a single hobby with the magnifying glass icon, or set up an advanced search with various filters using the sliders icon, where you can search multiple hobbies at once and in different locations around the globe.
Send that user a friend request. Once they have accepted it, you will be able to chat and exchange media with them. Hopefully, you will be connecting over your shared hobbies and interests in no time.
With Connec, not only can you search for other individuals but also for Groups and Events. These have been created by fellow Connec users and will be directly related to the hobbies you have searched for.
Groups are digital meeting places where groups of users can meet (for example a hobby group, creative group or local organization), and Events are one-off events (think a concert, sporting or volunteer event or games night). When you navigate to these you can find information on real-life Groups and Events in your community, as well as access group chats online to connect with others.
